The uploader allows updating of online dictionaries written in Shoebox format. Developed
by the
Bininj Kunwok Regional Language Centre.

Select a dictionary
1. Enter your secret code
2. Upload your image assets (optional)
You can upload all assets at once, or just the files that have changed since the last upload. Old files with the same name will be overwritten. You can drag whole folders into the uploader, but the folder structure will be flattened, so please make sure that all filenames are unique. Allowed file extensions are .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tif, .tiff and .gif These will be uploaded to the Cloudinary file hosting service.
3. Upload your audio assets (optional)
Works the same as image upload. Allowed file extensions are .mp3 and .wav.
4. Load the dictionary file
This should be a shoebox-formatted file in .txt format.
5. Validate the dictionary and save to database
This will parse the dictionary file, check it for errors, then upload the results to the database. If image or audio files are missing, you can upload them again in step 2.
6. Refresh the staging site (optional)
Before you refresh the live site, you can refresh the staging site to check that everything looks good.
7. Refresh the live dictionary!
Hit the button below to refresh the live dictionary with your new data. This will take a few minutes to go live. Note that if there were validation warnings at step 5, they might cause UI issues in the live dictionary. If there were errors, you should not hit this button.
